Role – Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Reporting to – Group Financial Controller

Contract Type – Permanent Full time

Glenveagh Properties PLC, a leading residential homebuilder is currently recruiting an experienced finance professional to take up the role of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be based in our Maynooth Head Office. The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller and this is an excellent opportunity to take up a key role in the Group Finance Function in one of Ireland’s fastest growing PLCs.

Main responsibilities

·         Project management of the Group’s quarterly re-forecasting process across the business involving submissions from various departments (Sales; Construction etc.)

·         Analysis of submissions from other departments and interrogation of key inputs and outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported metrics

·         Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of forecasts submitted to Group Finance

·         Preparation and maintenance of integrated Group Financial Model and presentation of same to senior finance management

·         Interpretation of quarterly forecast and performance of scenario analysis by flexing key assumptions

·         Development of Group Financial Model with the aim of automating the model using the Group’s BI reporting tool (BI360)

·         End to end project management of the Group’s annual budget process

·         Perform other related tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

·         ACA/ACCA qualified preferably with Big 4 background

·         3 years PQE with solid understanding of budgeting, reporting and forecasting concepts and frameworks

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with financial modelling experience preferable

·         Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task across a number of workstreams

·         Advanced analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

·         Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in independently with minimal supervision

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills a prerequisite

·         Operational finance experience in a start-up or construction environment an advantage

·         Proven aptitude to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (including non-finance professionals) essential

·         Experience with BI360 reporting tool an advantage
