Advanced Scaffolding

Screen Ireland, formerly known as Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board, is the Republic of Ireland’s state development agency for the Irish film, television and animation industry.

Please note by registering your interest you are NOT applying for a course. This is to gauge the interest of attendees for attending this course. 

Proposed Start Date: Monday, 23rd January 2023

Duration: 10 days

Cost: Free

Venue: Dublin or Wicklow

Advanced Scaffolding

The aim of this ten day course, run over two consecutive weeks, is to give participants, currently working in the screen sector with a Basic Scaffolder’s card, the knowledge to erect and dismantle more complex scaffolds safely in accordance with the statuary regulations and the relevant guidelines for the type of scaffold.

Successful candidates will receive a SOLAS CSCS and a FETAC/QQI card.

All candidates must hold a valid Basic Scaffolder’s card for at least one year and must have proven experience in the screen industry and in erecting tube and fitting scaffolds.
