David Flynn Limited Seek Site Engineer: David Flynn Limited, one of Irelands Top 40 Main Contractors, is  looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in the South East.

David Flynn Limited Seek Site Engineer

Your role

  • Set out the works and ensure that all trades people and operatives clearly understand the information provided
  • Disseminate information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, subcontractors, so that they clearly understand what is required
  • Test materials as directed by the site manager in accordance with the relevant specifications
  • Liaise with Irish Water and other service providers to ensure that all works are completed to the required standard, recorded and signed off on an on-going basis to ensure that there are no delays when it comes to the final service connections.
  • Record and report on work progress including that of subcontractors to your manager
  • Conduct your work in a safe manner and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations

Do You Have:

  • A third level qualification in Engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in setting out or site engineer
  • Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm or similar preferred
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication skills
